About

  • English
    • The Estadio de la Cartuja , formerly the Olympic Stadium of Seville, is a modern multi-sport venue inaugurated in 1999 to support Seville's bid for the 2004 Olympic Games.

Located on the island of La Cartuja, it can accommodate approximately 60,000 spectators (capacity being increased for the 2030 World Cup), placing it among the largest stadiums in Spain. Although it is not the permanent home of any local football club, it regularly hosts major events such as the Copa del Rey and Davis Cup finals, international matches of the Spanish national team, as well as large concerts, affirming its central role in the Andalusian sporting and cultural landscape.
