The Church of San Isidoro is one of several parish churches in Seville founded immediately after the Christian Reconquest of 1248. It is particularly notable for its Gothic-Mudejar architectural style.
Built in the mid-14th century, it was erected on what was probably the highest point in the historic city center, testifying to the antiquity of its site. Its structure, typical of the period, consists of three naves separated by pointed brick arches resting on cruciform pillars.
