Glorieta de Bécquer The romantic monument of Seville

The Glorieta de Bécquer is a charming space in the María Luisa Park in Seville, built in homage to the Sevillian Romantic poet Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. It is famous for its marble sculptural group, the work of Lorenzo Coullaut Valera, which symbolizes love in its different stages: nascent love, possessed love (in the center, the bust of the poet), and lost or broken love. The whole is surrounded by cypress trees and creates an atmosphere of serenity and melancholy, often considered one of the most romantic places in the park.
