The Torre Sevilla is the city's first skyscraper and the tallest building in Andalusia, reaching a height of 180.5 meters with 37 floors.
Designed by the renowned Argentinian architect César Pelli , it was inaugurated in 2016 and stands on the site of the former Expo 92. Its construction, initially controversial, gave rise to a multi-purpose complex that includes offices , the Eurostars Torre Sevilla Hotel (occupying the top floors), an open-air shopping center and the CaixaForum Sevilla cultural center .
