The Monumento a Diego Velázquez in Seville is a statue that pays tribute to the famous Spanish painter Diego Velázquez, a native of the city. Located in the Plaza del Duque de la Victoria, this bronze work was created in 1892 by the Sevillian sculptor Antonio Susillo.
The statue depicts Velázquez holding a palette and brush, drawing inspiration from his self-portrait in his masterpiece, Las Meninas.
