About

  • English
    • The Espacio Exploraterra (or Centro Nao Victoria) is a museum and interpretation center in Seville, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, near the Torre del Oro.

As a museum, it is entirely dedicated to the history of the Great Maritime Discoveries, and more specifically to the account of the first circumnavigation of the world by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastián Elcano (1519-1522), whose expedition began and ended in Seville.

Its main attraction is the Nao Victoria 500, an exact, full-scale replica of the original ship. The tour combines interactive and educational exhibits in the visitor center with physical exploration of the ship, allowing visitors to understand the daily life and challenges of this historic voyage.
