The Puerta de Córdoba is a historic gate located in Seville, integrated into the city walls. Built during the Muslim rule, it takes its name from the fact that it marked the exit to Córdoba to the east. Rebuilt in the 16th century in Almoravid style, it retains a military aspect and also served as an observation tower. It is backed by the Church of San Hermenegildo and is part of one of the few sections of the city walls of Seville that have been preserved, including the one that extends to the Puerta de la Macarena. It has been classified as an Asset of Cultural Interest since 1908.
