The Church of San Bartolomé in Seville is an important religious building located in the old Jewish quarter, known today as the Barrio de San Bartolomé. Its history is special, as it was erected on the site of a former synagogue after the expulsion of the Jews. The current building, in the neoclassical style, is the result of a major reconstruction in the 18th century to replace the original church.
