Miraflores Park is the largest urban park in Seville, covering approximately 90 hectares in the city's northern district. It has a unique history, having been created in 1983 by a neighborhood association that worked to transform a former open-air dump into a public green space. Its purpose is ecological, educational, and cultural.
Today, it stands out for its vast esplanades, its lakes, its diversity of flora and fauna, its urban orchards managed by the inhabitants. Archaeological and historical remains are preserved within it, offering the Sevillians an ideal place for relaxation, leisure, sport and picnics in the heart of nature.
